What a fantastic first half-term we have had in EYFS!
Throughout Autumn A, we have enjoyed exploring a range of wonderful stories and exciting themes, including Inside Out, Whistleless, Have You Filled a Bucket Today? and We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.
Our learning has helped us to recognise and talk about our feelings, understand the importance of kindness and friendship, and develop our confidence, communication and independence. Through stories, discussions, imaginative play and creative activities, we have been learning how to express ourselves, care for others and work together.
We have also loved exploring our outdoor environment! From investigating nature and making bird feeders to enjoying exciting autumn activities, we have been developing our curiosity, creativity and problem-solving skills.
Autumn has brought lots of hands-on fun too! We have enjoyed making delicious pumpkin cakes, exploring different ingredients and creating magical pumpkin potions. These experiences have encouraged us to use our senses, practise our counting and measuring skills, develop our fine motor skills and use our imaginations.
It has been wonderful to see the children growing in confidence, building friendships and showing such enthusiasm for their learning.
We are so proud of everything they have achieved during Autumn A. Take a look at some of our special learning moments below!
