Hummingbirds have had a fantastic start to the new school year.
We have enjoyed sharing stories and facts in our lovely Book Corner and puzzles are our favourite choosing activity at the moment .
In our English we have been retelling the story of Little Acorns and writing about what the characters are thinking.
In Art, we are learning how to draw our self- portraits and in Forest School we have been connecting with nature by going on sensory walks, pattern spotting, making 2D and 3D creations, whilst making sure we know how to be safe and look after our environment.
We have been learning all about Autumn with a focus on Seasonal Changes in our Science learning. This week we have been comparing the weather forecasts with what the weather has actually been like. We now understand that the forecast can be wrong sometimes !
