Welcome back to a cold, frosty January. We have lots of plans ahead that are already starting to keep us busy in class.

This term some of the texts we will be looking at are The Storm Whale and What the ladybird heard before moving on to some factual writing. In Maths we are happy to be moving on to numbers up to 20 and really understanding them and then looking at calculating within 20, including missing number problems which are really difficult!

Our afternoons are being kept busy with work on animals in Science lessons, some messy paper mache and salt dough work in Art, exploring mini bee shaped robots in Computing and discovering some interesting new songs in Music!

Please remember your child can now wear PE kit to school each Tuesday, as a reminder this PE kit consists of a red t shirt, black shorts or joggers and either their school jumper / cardigan or an appropriate jumper. They are not to wear football kits.
