Wow! What a truly amazing half term.
The children were absolutely fantastic on Wednesday, as they stood beautifully, sung tunefully and danced like there was no one watching – we are all so proud of every single one of them!
We have been busy little elves as well, completing our first DT project and using mechanisms to create a Christmas surprise for you all. We hope you like them, we know they children do!
This half term, as always, has been jam packed and full of such brilliant learning. In English, we have spent lots of time creating commands in order to write a potion. Can you remember what your potion does to tell someone at home? In Maths, we have put on our thinking caps and channelled our efforts into learning column for addition and subtraction. Wonder if you could teach someone at home? Bring it in after Christmas to share with us if you do!
We adored learning about Guy Fawkes in History, making links between the gunpowder plot (which happened so many years ago) fireworks night and our beloved Carnival!
We would like say a massive thank you for all our thoughtful presents and take this opportunity to wish every single one of you an absolutely wonderful Christmas! Have a lovely time with your family and friends and we look forward to your return in January.
