The last week of Spring A Term in Early Years

During the last week of Spring A, the children in Early Years enjoyed listening to the story of ‘Little Red Hen’.

We created Story Maps and used them to retell the story to an adult or a friend.

In Maths, our learning was about Length and Height. We focused on using the language ‘taller, shorter and longer’.

Friday 9th Feb was Chinese New Year’s Eve. We were very privileged to see Zihao dressed up beautifully to celebrate the occasion. Throughout the day we engaged in a variety of activities, to help us understand and celebrate this special event.

We are loving a newly refurbished ‘small world’ area in the classroom. We have been creating obstacle courses for the small animals or cars to manoeuvre over and around. It has taken a lot of team work and communication.
