The league was intense. We played many matches and lost a couple, however we persevered and made it to the semi-finals. We lost sadly, but we played for 3rd or 4th place. The game was nerve-wracking and at the start we conceded two goals, but we were determined to carry on and never give up. Then in the last minute, Jack scored an amazing goal putting us back into the game.
In the second half, we didn’t concede any goals and Jack took a penalty and scored!! Alex made an amazing save which shocked us all. Finally, in the last 5 minutes, Alex passed the ball to Harvey and he booted it up the pitch to Jack. He sprinted. He shot. HE SCORED!!!!! This put us into the lead:3-2! With a minute left to play, we held our ground and scored again!
What an incredible match and the players involved were Jack, Freddie, Harvey, Keeton, Abir, Alex, Leighton, Bailey, Lewis and both Leo’s.
