This week in Early Years we have enjoyed watching a beautiful Literacy Shed short animation ‘Whistleless’. It tells the wonderful story of a little bird called ‘Whistleless’ who finds that he can’t whistle like all his friends. This makes him feel really sad. Throughout the animation Whistleless tried to find other whistles, like a policeman’s whistle….but this doesn’t pan out well. By the end of the story, Whistleless has tried, tried and tired some more and finds that he actually has learnt to whistle! He is so overjoyed and happy.

This has been a fantastic short animation to share with the Early Years children to show the amazing things that we can all achieve if we persevere and don’t give up!
