Sports Day & more in Otters 🦦

This term is whizzing by – I cannot believe there are only three weeks left.

We thoroughly enjoyed sports day and were so excited to have lunch with you! Miss Stevens was super impressed with our efforts and our participation.

In English, Mr Penguin now has a job and he is investigating the Museum of Extraordinary objects. He had to find the X to find the treasure. Absolutely wonderful creativity shone from our Books as we predicted what was under the X and who or what was creating the loud banging noisy.

Although we planted our potatoes ages ago, last week we planted our very own pea plant! We are going to observe it until the end of term. Today we had them on our tables, carefully looked at what was happening and whispered some kind words of encouragement to them. We cannot wait to see how they grow!

In computing we have continued on Scratch Junior, learning how to change the background within our programming. This time though we didn’t use the green flag start button, we used ‘tap the sprite’. We had great fun changing the seasons and some of us were very creative with our projects!

Next week is creativity week! We are already excited to be learning all about a new country although Miss Stevens has said we have to wait until Monday to find out! We cannot wait to complete art based activities!
