Firstly, a huge thank you to all adults who helped with our ‘all about me sheets’ this week – all the children were highly enthusiastic about writing ‘All About Me’ and thoroughly enjoyed sharing new information they had learnt about themselves. Our reports were fantastic.

In Maths, we have been looking at groups and sharing, beginning to look at dividing. I wonder if anyone can answer this question and bring it into school. Show someone at home how to answer it.

Billy has 25 cookies. He shares them out between 5 plates. How many cookies will he have on each plate?

We are absolutely loving our current computing unit, learning all about instructions or algorithm. We tried and tested algorithms with beebots and this week we even got to design our own mats, working on a theme. Which theme did your group choose?

Geography has allowed us to travel to a different continent – Africa. We have zoomed into a country called Zambia and a small village called Mugurameno. Can you tell someone at home how that village is different to Street? Maybe you can remember 1 way they keep the wild animals out?

Listening skills have been our focus, learning to demonstrate this to the person who is talking to us. Can you remember the three key points? We even had a very successful go at problem solving scenarios that might happen upon the playground.
