Christmas in Year 1 🎄

Lily CollinsYear 1, Tigers

Wow, what an amazing few weeks it has been in Year One! We have thoroughly enjoyed being creative, festive and most definitely glittery when working with the children. Alongside rehearsing for The Angel who nearly missed it all the children have produced several different creations that they will be bringing home on Friday to share with you.

These creations certainly allowed all of the children to show their creative sides and it is amazing to see how differently they all approach the same activities, hopefully you enjoy them in your homes as much as we enjoyed making them.

Each and every child in Year One tried so hard during the performances, many of them were not feeling 100% and none of them have ever done anything like this before so to see and hear them singing and acting so confidently was brilliant. We are incredibly proud of them and are sure you are too.

There are no spellings to learn over the Christmas holidays so please enjoy the time at home and we will see you again on Tuesday 3rd January, we will have PE that day so please make sure the children bring their kits with them. A big thank you for the cards and gifts we have received, they are never expected but are always appreciated and even more so this year with the current financial pressures everyone is under.Â
