Any ideas and suggestions for future fundraising projects are gratefully received - we are open to any ideas which will benefit the whole school, targets which are fun and exciting to aim for. If you'd like to propose a fundraising idea then please fill in the contact form below, see a member of the committee or drop us a note via the school office.

Whether you have been with the school for some time or have little ones in Brookside Nursery, Crispin Nursery or in Early Years, it's time to get involved!  Friends of Brookside is a charity, established purely to enhance the educational experience of our children. We run fun events such as Discos, Bedtime Stories, Cake Sales, Easter events, Summer/Christmas Fairs and many more.

If you have an idea for an event, please do get in touch. We are always looking for fresh ideas.

These events raise funds to subsidise various activities organised by the school. Regular contributions have been made to school trips, equipment and school crossing staff. Larger 'one-off' projects have included landscaping at the rear of the school, a school Minibus and the play equipment which opened in summer 2015.

FoB Committee

Chair - Kelly Fowler
Treasurer - Ben Grenter
Headteacher - Brian Walton
 Deputy Headteacher - Sarah Ashford

The FoB Committee is supported by a team of parent volunteers from across all year groups of the school. The following parents regularly attend committee meetings and help at events:

Christine Cleaves

Cathy Clowes

Teresa England

Tracy Hawkins

Sophie Hegarty

Kim Knight

Lucy Little

Natalie Neale

Donna Withers

In recent years, the number of parent volunteers who help run FoB events has dwindled considerably.

*** We cannot run our events without your help ***

We appreciate that everyone has busy lives - we are not asking for a huge ongoing commitment of your time. Just one hour every now and then to help at the odd event would make all the difference.  The support from family and friends is vital in determining the future of FoB - all funds raised are put towards resources that support our children.  Without more helpers, there is a very real risk that FOB cannot continue - ultimately this means that all these events cannot happen and our children will miss out on the funds that FoB provides.

If you would like to help us please give the office your email address and phone number and we will keep you up to date of events where you can help out.

Thank you.
